Oh skateboarding, Rob and I tried to go skate yesterday, but after 20 minutes at Newberg we got rained out, we hoped to dodge the rain back in PDX, but to no avail, it followed us everywhere. In the evening I spent some quality time with some friends who are down from Seattle. Today after work Rob got me to go skate again, we checked out a manual pad spot Rob found and then drove out to a little bank and curb spot I noticed. Our leg stretching session ended up being a couple hours and two great spots + we spent some quality time searching around for some new spots. It was what I remember about skateboarding - fun and adventure... but instead of putting in the Sonic Youth tape we listened to NPR - old folks...
